Responsibilities
  • Design and deploy complex, multi-tier applications on GCP, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency. 
  • Manage and optimize workloads using GCP services like Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run. 
  • Leverage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Deployment Manager to automate deployments and updates. 
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their growth and development. 
  • Conduct regular knowledge-sharing sessions and guide team members on GCP best practices, tools, and techniques. 
  • Act as the technical escalation point for resolving complex issues within the team.
  • Explore and perform POCs for new GCP services and features, integrating them to enhance performance and cost savings. 
  • Continuously evaluate existing infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and optimize them for performance, security, and cost. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and stakeholders to define and achieve infrastructure objectives. 
  • Handle customer queries and client interactions, providing technical expertise and ensuring satisfaction with delivered solutions. 



Requirements

  • B.Tech/B.E/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, with at least 4+ years dedicated to GCP.
  • Proven track record of deploying and managing complex applications on GCP.
  • In-depth knowledge of GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Run, IAM, BigQuery, and Networking. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and innovate within large-scale cloud environments.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on identifying and solving inefficiencies in infrastructure.
  • Certification (Preferred) - Google Professional Cloud Architect.
