Senior Cloud Engineer — Azure Platform

Responsibilities:

Cloud Architecture & Reviews
  • Perform deep assessments of customer Azure environments and identify architecture improvements.
  • Provide recommendations aligned with Azure Well-Architected Framework.
  • Design and review architectures for scalability, high availability, and security.
  • Evaluate existing infrastructure and recommend modernization strategies.
  • Work with customers across a range of Azure services including:
  • Compute (VMs, VMSS, App Services)
  • Azure Networking (VNet, NSG, Private Endpoints, Load Balancers, Application Gateway)
  • Storage (Blob, Disk, File)
  • Databases (Azure SQL, managed databases)
  • Identity and Access Management (Azure AD, RBAC)
  • Help customers improve deployment patterns, operational practices, and cloud governance.
  • Troubleshoot complex Azure infrastructure issues.
Cloud Optimization & FinOps
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficient resource utilization.
  • Provide recommendations on rightsizing, architecture improvements, and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to insights that support FinOps-driven cloud governance.
Product Development Contribution
  • Contribute to CloudKeeper’s Azure product capabilities.
  • Help design automated architecture reviews and recommendation systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve Azure infrastructure insights and automation.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud architecture.
  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure design, networking, and security.
  • Experience designing highly available and scalable cloud systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Experience working directly with customers or stakeholders in technical roles.
  • Familiarity with scripting or automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
