Addition of GKE Dashboard (GCP)

The GKE Dashboard has been introduced in GCP Lens to provide a comprehensive and structured view of Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) costs, enabling deeper visibility into Kubernetes spending across clusters and workloads.

The dashboard delivers end-to-end cost breakdowns across clusters, namespaces, regions, instance types, node pools, and purchase types, helping FinOps teams, platform engineers, and cloud administrators clearly understand where Kubernetes costs originate and how they evolve over time.

High-level metrics such as month-wise cost with MoM change, forecasted cost, total clusters, and total nodes provide an instant snapshot of usage and spending trends.

The dashboard also introduces interactive visualizations for analyzing costs by cluster, namespace, region, instance type, and purchase type, along with a dedicated Node Pool Cost table highlighting the top 20 node pools and a Top 20 Resources table offering workload-level insights.

Users can explore data with daily or monthly granularity, switch between bar, stacked, or line chart views, and leverage interactive tooltips, full-screen expand options, and Excel exports for charts and tables.

By intentionally excluding recommendation cards, the dashboard maintains a clean and focused experience centered purely on cost visibility, enabling faster identification of high-cost areas and improved cost accountability across Kubernetes environments.
