Label-Based Scheduler (CloudKeeper Tuner - GCP)

Label-Based Scheduler automates the start and stop of GCP resources based on labels already applied in the customer's GCP environment. Customers define label rules instead of selecting individual resources, and Tuner automatically manages all matching Virtual Machines, Cloud SQL instances, and Managed Instance Groups (MIGs). Any new resource with the same labels is automatically included, eliminating the need for manual updates.

The scheduler is configured through a single workflow where customers define scheduler details, label conditions, and recurrence settings. Intelligent label search displays available labels along with matching resource counts, making it easy to validate the scheduler scope before saving.

Advanced scheduling capabilities include Deferred Start, End Recurrence, and Stop-Only schedulers, allowing customers to automate temporary, recurring, or shutdown-only workloads with minimal effort. Each scheduler also displays its Effective Runtime, helping customers verify how long resources will remain active during each schedule.

To improve usability, Project Names are displayed alongside Project IDs, Cloud SQL resources can be previewed in a hierarchical view before saving, and a dedicated Event History Dashboard provides complete visibility into every scheduler execution for monitoring, auditing, and troubleshooting.
