The What’s New feature in CK-Lens introduces a centralized, easy-to-access panel that keeps users informed about newly released features, UI enhancements, and product improvements. As CK-Lens continues to evolve with new dashboards, optimizations, and performance upgrades, important updates can often go unnoticed. The What’s New panel solves this by providing a single, dedicated space where all product updates are clearly showcased through a clean, modern pop-up interface. 

Located at the top-right corner beside the user profile, the feature includes real-time numeric badges that indicate unread updates, ensuring users never miss new capabilities added after onboarding.

When users click the What’s New button, a distraction-free pop-up opens with a structured layout: the left panel lists all updates, while the right panel displays detailed descriptions, release notes, screenshots, and categorized tags such as Optimization, UI Enhancement, or Cost Savings. 

Once a user opens a new update, it is automatically marked as “read,” and the badge count adjusts accordingly. The Explore button further enhances usability by allowing users to navigate directly to the live feature in a new browser tab without losing context. With automatic read/unread tracking, guided exploration, and seamless navigation, the What’s New feature improves transparency, boosts feature adoption, and ensures a consistent, intuitive product experience across CK-Lens.
