What's New with CloudKeeper?

Added visibility into who triggered each remediation action with a new “Remediated By” column for improved transparency and auditability.

We’ve upgraded the Scheduler experience with several usability and visibility improvements:

Identifies idle Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters with no workload or activity over an extended period, helping detect unused Kubernetes environments that continue to incur costs.

Identifies non-production Cloud SQL instances that are overprovisioned with Regional availability, helping detect resources incurring higher-than-necessary costs.

The new Recommendation History page provides a consolidated view of inactive recommendations across the following categories: Cleaner, OverProvisioned, and Modernization.

Scheduler onboarding is now available on GCP Tuner, allowing users to enable Recommendations and Scheduler as part of a unified project onboarding flow

The new Savings Achieved Dashboard provides visibility into actual cost savings realized from successfully remediated Cleaner recommendations.

This feature enables automated scheduling for Compute Engine VMs and Cloud SQL instances, so users can run resources only when needed.

Identifies App Engine services or versions with zero HTTP requests that continue to incur compute, storage, and logging costs. Deleting unused services or switching to automatic scaling reduces unnecessary charges and cleans up associated resources.

A new Recommendation Age column has been added to the Recommendations → Insights page for both AWS and GCP.

Identifies Dataproc clusters with no job activity, which continue to incur compute, storage, and management costs. Stopping or deleting these idle clusters helps reduce unnecessary charges and maintain a clean, cost-efficient environment.
